Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Upshot you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Using Upshot

• You must be an adult, or use Upshot with a parent or guardian.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give us accurate information. Do not pretend to be someone else.

Children and video

• Only add a player to a team, or record a game, if you have the permission of that player's parent or guardian, and of the league, school or venue where they are required.
• Team admins are responsible for who they invite and for the team's privacy setting.
• Do not share recordings, clips or screenshots of children outside the team without their parents' permission.

What you post

Team members can ask questions and reply on a team's Team Board. You may not post anything that is harassing, hateful, sexual, threatening or unlawful, that shares a child's private details (such as an address or phone number), or that is spam. You own what you post, and you let us store and show it to your team so the service works.

Reporting and removal

Every message on the Team Board has a Report action, and you can block anyone whose messages you do not want to see. Team admins can remove any message. We review reports and may remove content or accounts that break these terms. To reach us about something urgent: in the app, under Account, then Report a problem

Statistics

Statistics and highlights are produced from what a scorekeeper records and can be wrong. Do not rely on them for anything that matters beyond enjoying the game.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Account, then Delete account. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Upshot after that means you accept the change.
